Overnight Crime

Hello all,

Please accept my apologies and disregard the earlier message this afternoon.

After running a check on our CAD database, I came across a CAD for a Burglary in Hubbards Chase. This occurred sometime between 31/05/2026 - 05/06/2026 so this crime would not show up, when I am running an overnight crime check, as the dates are outside the parameters.

Residential Burglary reported at Hubbards Chase - nearer to junction of Wingletye Lane

Sometime between 31/05/2026 - 05/06/2026, suspect(s) unknown have accessed the rear garden, used an unknown tool to force open the rear door to gain entry into venue. Once inside, suspect(s) have conducted an untidy search of the house, possibly stolen a couple of designer handbags and exited venue, without being seen or heard.   

Venue is an unoccupied house and a family member has already removed cash and Jewellery from the home.  

Please ensure house alarms are active, so intruders are detected and disturbed.

Use timer lights, so the house looks lived in and ask a neighbour to park a car on the front drive.

There has been NO further overnight crimes of Robbery or Motor Vehicle Crime reported on the ward.
